John Steiger Memorial Performing Arts Scholarship
The OCAF John Steiger Performing Arts Scholarships are to be presented annually to graduating high school seniors, based upon student experience, contributions to their performing arts program, and a teacher recommendation.
This years selected student[s] can receive $750.00 to $900.00 to further their arts education.
Spring 2010 Application Instructions:
To be considered for this award please submit a TYPED, 1-2 page, application which includes the following information:
1. Name, current telephone number, and mailing address
2. High school coursework in the performing arts, including current and completed
3. Additional outside or extracurricular performing arts experience
4. Future educational and career goals
5. How this scholarship would benefit and/or assist you
6. Why this scholarship should be awarded to you
Additionally, include a Letter of Recommendation from your high school performing arts instructor.
ALSO SUBMIT a Video Tape/ CD of you performing. This tape should be no longer than 5 minutes, and should showcase your best efforts. Do NOT use YouTube. The distortion will not show you to your best advantage.
