Oceanside Cultural Arts Foundation Performing Arts Scholarship
The OCAF Performing Arts Scholarships are to be presented annually to graduating high school seniors, based upon student experience, contributions to their performing arts program, and a teacher recommendation.
Student[s] can receive $750.00 to $900.00 to further their arts education.
Spring 2012 Application Instructions
To be considered for this award please submit a TYPED, 1-2 page only, application which includes the following information:
- Name, current telephone number, and mailing address, email e dress, name of high school
- High school coursework in the performing arts, including completed and current
- Additional outside or extracurricular performing arts experience
- Future educational and career goals
- How this scholarship would benefit and/or assist you
- Why this scholarship should be awarded to you
Additionally, include a Letter of Recommendation from your high school performing arts instructor,
AND a Video Tape/ DVD of you performing. This tape should be no longer than 5 minutes, and should showcase your best efforts. Please make sure your video shows YOU at your best! Make sure that your music, dance, or dramatic presentation underscores your talents. The camera should be focused on you rather than a large group. We will not accept CD’s. We need to see you performing.
Do NOT use YouTube. The distortion will Not show you to your best advantage.
Application Deadline is Monday, April 19, 2012.

- Vista High Senior Cassie Dibbins plans to attend Utah State University this fall, working toward her degree in Music Therapy.
- Rancho Buena Vista Senior Morgan Kathryn Reynolds will be attending Azua Pacific university this fall majoring in Music Theatre.
