Oct. 12 6:00pm Oceanside Museum of Art Oceanside Cultural Arts Foundation Performing Arts Scholarship Gala.This year's Gala will offer preview performances of the concert series as well as recognizing and applauding 3 outstanding North County performing arts activists: Joni Harris, Kathleen O'Brien, and Tom Brault for outstanding performance and lasting contribution in promoting music and the arts in North San Diego County.

Fri. Oct 14 7:30 pm Quantum Learning Network Conference Center It's Broadway, Baby: A music and dance spectacular, featuring Carlsbad Choraleers, Damsels in Distress, as well as local favorite singers, dancers, and incredibly talented student performers. The concert covers the history of the Tony Awards with familiar, and maybe some new, Broadway tunes.

Sun. Oct 16 3:00pm 1st Christian Church, Oceanside Classical Kaleidoscope: Light classical music featuring New Ground Chamber Music, an interactive and immersive experience for audience members. It will consist of music that contains electronics and traditional instruments: the violin, cello, clarinet, and piano. Their goal is "to do away with the formality and elitism and convention of classical concerts and make the experience of attending our concerts something that may deeply inspire and enrich the lives of our audiences."

Fri. Oct 21 7:00pm New Song Community Church World Rhythms: A concert of international flavor featuring MiraCosta College's 'Frequency, Vocal Jazz Ensemble' and 'Raggle Taggle', a San Diego Celtic favorite.
 
World Rhythms
Sat. Oct 22 7:30pm MiraCosta Concert Hall High School Choral Showcase: The annual high school showcase of choirs and chamber singers. This concert, a perennial favorite, features the best of the best from local high school choral music.
 
High School Choral Showcase
Sun. Oct 23 2:00pm St. Mary's Star of The Sea Catholic Church Global Spirit: A concert of medieval and liturgical music covering from Gregorian Chant thru Contemporary praise at featuring The Goliards, showcasing the musical treasures of Europe's medieval, Renaissance and Baroque periods, as performed on period instruments and in accordance with historical practice, as well as Tri City Christian School Praise Singers, a local gospel favorite. This will be a Free Will Offering concert.
